Coking coal imports through the port of Kandla rose marginally by 4.68% to 332,034 tons in February 2016 against 32,774 tons recorded in January 2016, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
Imports of coking coal through the port during February 2015 stood at 14,600 tons.
Imports of the material through the port during the first 11 months (April-February) of FY2015-16 stood at 332,034 tons, down 16.54% from 397,863 tons imported during the same period last year.
