Coking coal imports through the port of Kandla decrease by 19.64% to 26,918 tons in March 2016 against 33,500 tons recorded in February 2016, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
Imports of the material through the port during FY2015-16 (April-March) stood at 358,952 tons, down 23.20% from 467,407 tons imported during the same period last year.
Imports of coking coal through the port during March 2015 stood at 69,544 tons.
