Imports of pet coke through Kandla Port increased 32.18% month-on-month to 285,523 tons in December 2015 against 200,350 tons in November, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In January 2016, imports of pet coke were recorded at 7,500 tons through the port.
Imports of pet coke through the port during the first 10 months (April-January) of FY 2015-16 stood at 1,797,927 tons against 372,667 tons recorded during the same period last year.

In January 2016, around 179,473 tons of pet coke came in from Saudi Arabia at a price range of Rs 2,561 - Rs 4,606 ($38-$69) and 106,051 tons from the United States in a band of Rs 3,281 - Rs 5,767 ($49-$86) per ton.
In December 2015, around 162,499 tons of pet coke came in from Saudi Arabia at a price range of Rs 2,809 - Rs 4,609 ($42-$69) and 53,500 tons from the United States in a band of Rs 3,803 - Rs 5,746 ($61-$75) per ton.
