Kandla coking coal imports down 24% in Nov m-o-m

December 23: Coking coal imports through the port of Kandla stood at 33,202 tons in November 2014, down almost 24.02% from 43,696 tons reported in October 2014, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
Imports of coking coal through the port during November 2013 stood at 26,937 tons.

In November 2014, the entire quantity came from Australia at a price range of Rs 7,146-Rs 9,029 ($115-$144) per ton while during October 2014, 41,000 tons came in from Australia at a price range of Rs 5,886-Rs 9,311 ($94-$150) per ton.
