Kandla pet coke imports fall 17% in November m-o-m

December 23: Imports of pet coke via Kandla Port fell 16.76% to 44,000 tons during November 2014 while in the previous month, imports of the material through the port stood at 52,861 tons, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

During November 2014, 4,000 tons came from Saudi Arabia at a price of Rs 5,994 ($97) per ton while the balance 40,000 tons came from the US at Rs 5,855 ($94) per ton.

In October 2014, the entire material came from United States at a price of Rs 5,735 ($92) per ton.
