Kandla pet coke imports in Oct falls 34.47% in Oct m-o-m

November 25: Imports of pet coke via Kandla Port fell 34.47% to 52,861 tons during the month of October 2014 while in the previous month, import of the material through the port stood at 80,671 tons, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In October 2014, the entire material came from United States at a price of Rs 5,735 ($92) per ton whereas during September 2014, 14,014 tons came from Saudi Arabia at a price range of Rs 5,907-Rs 6,174 ($97-$100) per ton while the rest of 66,657 tons came in from the US at a price range of Rs 5,920-Rs 6,737 ($97-$109) per ton.
