Imports of anthracite coal via Krishnapatnam Port were up a huge 379.53% at 302,536 tons in fiscal 2015-16 against a volume of 63,090 tons seen in 2014-15, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
On the other hand, imports of anthracite coal via this port were down 2.30% to 35,612 tons in March 2016 against a volume of 36,449 tons seen in February 2016.

In March, out of the entire volume, 3,300 tons came in from Russia at a price of Rs 5,842 ($87) per ton while details of 32,312 tons were not available.
In February, the entire volume of 36,449 tons came in from Russia at a price of Rs 5,013 ($73) per ton.
