Imports of anthracite coal via Krishnapatnam Port went down 3.56% to 36,449 tons in February 2016 against a volume of 37,795 tons imported in January 2016, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
For the first 11 months (April-February) of the current fiscal (2015-16), anthracite coal imports through the port stood at 266,924 tons while 48,090 tons had been imported in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

In February, the entire volume of 36,449 tons came in from Russia at a price of Rs 5,013 ($73) per ton.
In January, the entire volume of 37,795 tons came in from Russia too but at a price of Rs 5,250 ($77) per ton.
