Imports of pet coke via Krishnapatnam Port were up a huge 232.91% at 1,492,979 tons in fiscal 2015-16 against 448,460 tons seen in 2014-15, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
On the other hand, imports of pet coke via this port edged down 1.09% to 121,294 tons in March 2016 against 122,635 tons recorded in February 2016.

In March, a volume of 77,815 tons came from the US at a price range of Rs 3,117- Rs 4,895 ($46-$71) per ton, 42,271 tons from Saudi Arabia at a range of Rs 2,674- Rs 3,018 ($39-$45) per ton while details of 1,208 tons were not available.
In February, a volume of 10,000 tons came from the US at a price range of Rs 4,290- Rs 4,895 ($62-$72) per ton while details of 122,635 tons were not available.
