December 24: The holiday moods seem to be affecting the overall sentiments in international coal markets as the number of deals has come down while offer prices continue to remain firm, industry sources said.
While South African coal prices softened further, the firmness in Australian steam prices continued on December 23. Freight rates softened further, they added.
