Linkage/LoA auctions methodology likely soon

April 17: The Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) set up for the proposed auction of coal linkages and letters of assurances (LoAs) through competitive bidding is likely to come out with a methodology very soon, a member of the IMC told ICMW.

“We have received views from stakeholders and the consultants SBI Capital Markets, but a final decision is yet to be taken. We are discussing various points,” the member said.

“There is no finalisation of the methodology to conduct the auction. We expect that a final decision will be taken in next 2-3 weeks,” the member added.
