Low demand was witnessed for G8 grade coal (GCV range of 4,901-5,200 Kcal/kg) offered by CCL in the January 2016 e-auctions on coaljunction as out of the offered quantity of 30,000 tons, a mere 8,500 tons were allotted at a weighted average of Rs 2,028, according to data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of low demand was witnessed for G8 grade coal offered by CCL and WCL in the December 2015 on coaljunction as out of the offered quantity of 30,200 tons, 7,700 tons were allotted at a weighted average of Rs 2,614.
Fair demand was witnessed for G8 grade offered by CCL and WCL in the November 2015 e-auctions on coaljunction as out of the offered quantity of 29,200 tons, 10,180 tons were allotted at a weighted average of Rs 2,495.
