MMTC floats 1-mt imported steam coal NIT for APCPL

December 1: MMTC Limited, a Government of India enterprise, on behalf of Aravali Power Company Private Limited (APCPL), has floated a notice inviting tender (NIT), to procure 1 million ton (+/-10%) of imported steam coal for its Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project (IGSTPP) located at Jharli district in Jhajjar, Haryana, on 'FOR destination’ basis through Indian ports, according to information available with ICMW.

The scope of work includes import of 1 mt (+/- 10%) of steam coal to Indian ports, arranging vessels, stevedoring, handling, storage, port clearances, arranging railway rakes, loading, transportation and delivery at IGSTPP, Jhajjar, amongst others.

The material to be procured should have a GCV of 5,700 Kcal/Kg, 0.90% sulphur, 15% ash and 25% total moisture.

Interested parties can submit their bids till December 23, 2014 up to 2.30 pm while the technical bids will open on the same day at 3 pm.
