MMTC tender to procure hard coking coal for NINL

April 9: MMTC has floated a tender for 10,500 tons +/- 10% imported hard coking coal from interested parties, according to information available with ICMW.

The material is meant for supply to Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd, Odisha.

Suppliers or traders are required to supply imported washed hard coking coal of size 0-50 mm by railway rakes or road to the integrated steel plant of NINL.

The technical specifications include maximum moisture of 10-12%, 20-32% maximum volatile matter, ash content of 8.5-11% max and sulphur 0.50-0.80%.

The entire cargo needs to be delivered at the NINL plant by April 25, 2015 with 7,000 tons to be delivered by April 22, 2015.

The due date for submission of technical and price bids is 1400 hrs of April 15, 2015. The technical bids would be opened on 1430 hours of April 15, 2015, while the price bids would be opened by 1500 hours of April 15, 2015.

The offer is valid till April 30, 2015.
