Magdalla Port February coal handling up 37.38% m-o-m

Handling of coal by Magdalla Port stood at 595,737 tons in February 2016, witnessing a rise of 37.38% from 433,636 tons handled in January 2016, as per provisional data from port sources available with ICMW.

However, during the first eleven months (April-February) of 2015-16, coal handling by this port stood at 5,820,372 tons, showing a rise of 1.87% from 5,713,733tons handled in the same period of 2014-15.

Similarly, handling of coal by the port in February 2015 stood at 616,181 tons, which shows that handling was down 3.32 % y-o-y.
