Magdalla’s December coal handling up 7.91% m-o-m

Handling of coal (imported coal) by Magdalla Port stood at 813,711 tons in December 2015, showing a rise of 7.91% against 754,037 tons handled in November 2015, as per provisional data from port sources available with ICMW.

However, during the first nine months (April- December) of 2015-16, coal handling by this port stood at 4,790,999 tons, showing a rise of 8.18% from 4,428,783 tons handled in the same period of 2014-15.

Similarly, handling of coal by the port in December 2014 stood at 528,381 tons, which shows that handling was up 54% year-on-year.
