Magdalla’s November limestone handling down 35.26% m-o-m

December 28: Handling of limestone (imported lime stone) by Magdalla Port stood at 135,010 tons in November 2015, showing a sharp rise  of 114.80% against 62,853 tons handled in October 2015, as per provisional data from port sources available with ICMW.

However, during the first eight months (April-November) of 2015-16, limestone handling by this port stood at 570,465 tons, showing a decline of 14.57% from 667,792 tons handled in the same period of 2014-15.

However there was no handling of limestone by the port in November 2014.
