Mar gypsum imports via Kandla Port at 27,500 tons

April 6: Imports of Gypsum via Port of Kandla stood at 27,500 tons in March while no imports of the same were recorded in February 2015 and March 2014, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
During 2014-15, total gypsum imports via the port stood at 366,633 tons whereas the figure stood at 144,150 tons in the previous fiscal.

In March, the entire material came from Iran at a unit price of Rs 1,080 ($17) per ton.
In January 2015, the entire material came in from Iran at a price range of Rs 1,300-Rs 1,616 ($21-$25) per ton.
