March PCI imports through Paradip Port surge m-o-m

April 13: PCI coal imports through the port of Paradip skyrocketed to 87,552 tons in March 2015 against a mere 1,087 tons in February 2015, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In March, two consignments arrived from Australia in a price range of Rs 2,934 – Rs 5,937 ($47-94) per ton.

In February, however, a single consignment arrived from Australia at a unit price of Rs 9,302 ($148) per ton.
