March spot allotment via other platform up 79% m-o-m

The total offering of coal through the spot auction conducted by Coal India (CIL) subsidiaries during March 2016 on the MSTC platform stood at 8.55 million tons (mt), up sharply 78.87% compared to 4.78 mt offered in February 2016, as per data available with ICMW.
       
There were no offerings in March 2016 under forward e-auction on this platform.

Out of the offered quantity through spot e-auction in March 2016, 4.58 mt was allotted, up 131.31% month-on-month from 1.98 mt allotted in February 2016.
