Maritime business summit in Vizag on January 28-29

The fourth edition of the East Coast Maritime Business Summit (ECMBS) is going start from January 28, 2016 at Visakhapatnam. The theme of this two-day conference is “East Coast Hinterland: Waiting To Be Served.” Opportunities and challenges related to the maritime sector are going to be discussed.

Some 350 key stakeholders, including Tata Steel, Jindal Steel, Bhusan Power, Essar Group and the Adani Group are expected to participate apart from national and international destinations. All the major east coast ports, such as Krishnapatnam, Visakhapatnam, Gangavaram, Dhamra and DP World will address the summit. There will be a CEO roundtable where more than 70 CEOs are going to participate. A number of ministers, including N Chandrababu Naidu, will be present there.
 

The summit is being organised by the Maritime Gateway magazine, Viasakhapatnam Port Trust and Visakha Container Terminal as co-host.
