Imports of pet coke via Marmagoa Port rose 52.57% to 601,861 tons in fiscal 2015-16 against 394,481 tons in 2014-15, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
On the other hand, imports of the material via the port were down 47.86% month-on-month to 69,733 tons in March 2016 against 133,745 tons seen in February 2016.
Following is the monthly break-up of pet coke imports via Marmagoa Port in 2015-16 and 2014-15:

In March 2016, the entire quantity of 69,733 tons came from the US at a unit price of Rs 6,984 ($104) per ton.
In February 2016, out of the entire quantity of 133,745 tons, 8,500 tons came from Indonesia at a unit price of Rs 12,516 ($183) per ton, 54,473 tons from Saudi Arabia at a price range of Rs 2,713-Rs 2,713 ($40-$40) per ton and 70,772 tons from the US at a range of Rs 7,001 –Rs 7,001 ($102-$102) per ton.
