Marmagoa pet coke imports at 101,095 tons in Dec

January 12: Imports of pet coke via Marmagoa Port stood at 101,095 tons during the month of December 2014 whereas during the previous month, import of the material through this port stood at nil, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

During December 2014, out of the entire quantity, 20,370 tons came in from China at a price of Rs 9,823 ($157) per ton, 12,201 tons came from Indonesia at a price of Rs 10,713 ($171) per ton while the balance 68,524 tons came from the US at a price range of Rs 8,675-Rs 8,927 ($136-$140) per ton.
