December 16: Coking coal imports via Marmagoa Port stood at 441,646 tons during November 2015, resulting in a decrease of 7.57% in comparison to 477,793 tons imported during the previous month, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
Meanwhile, coking coal imports via this port stood at 4,347,823 tons during the first eight months (April-November) of 2015-16, resulting in a rise of 30.66% in comparison to 3,327,531 tons imported during the same period in 2014-15.
However, 679,359 tons of coking coal were imported via the port in November 2014.
