Met coke imports through Chennai Port at 3 tons

December 26: met coke imports via Chennai Port stood at a mere 3 tons for the month of November 2014, as per provisional information available with ICMW.

In November, the single consignments arrived from the UK at a unit price of Rs 51,978 ($ 840).

There have been no imports of met coke through Chennai from August-October 2014.

In July, met coke imports through the port were at a mere 94 tons while there had been no imports of the material between April-June, 2014.

In July, the material arrived from China at a unit price of Rs 19,099 ($318).
