Met coke imports via Cochin port at 330 tons in August

September 24: Imports of low ash metallurgical coke stood at 330 tons during the month of August 2013, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

However, import of the material stood at nil during the corresponding month of the previous financial year.

During the month, the entire material came from China at a price of Rs 19,209 ($310) per ton.
