Met coke imports via Gangavaram fall 7.7% in Feb m-o-m

March 10: Imports of met coke via Gangavaram Port stood at 55,365 tons during February 2014, down 7.7% from 59,985 tons imported during the previous month, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

During February 2014, 40,365 tons came from China at a price of Rs 10,790 ($173) per ton while 15,000 tons came from Italy at a price of Rs 16,768 ($266) per ton.

However, in January 2014, 44,000 tons came from China at a price of Rs 11,390 ($183) per ton, 10,000 tons came from Italy at a price of Rs 16,768 ($270) per ton while 5,985 tons came from Russia at a price of Rs 16,211 ($261) per ton.
