Met coke imports via New Mangalore at 59,832 tons in October

November 28: Met coke imports through the port of New Mangalore stood at 59,832 tons in October 2013 while during the previous month no met coke was imported via the port, as per information available with ICMW.

The import of met coke through the port during first seven months (April-October) of FY'14 stood at 250,089 tons while there were no pet coke imports in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

Following is the monthly break-up of met coke imports via New Mangalore:

During October 2013, the entire quantity came from China at a price range of Rs 15956-16,399 ($255-$262) per ton.
