Met coke imports via New Mangalore dip sharply in Feb m-o-m

March 21: Met coke imports via New Mangalore Port fell sharply during February 2014 to 48,158 tons, down sharply from 127,739 tons imported in January, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

During the month, the entire material came in from China at a price of Rs 17,626 ($283) per ton.

However, during January, 67,911 tons came from China at a price range of Rs 16,990-Rs 17,469 ($272-$281) per ton, 31,300 tons came from Japan at a price of Rs 17,192 ($276) per ton, 8,700 tons came from Pakistan at a price of Rs 8,908 ($143) per ton while 19,828 tons came from Ukraine at a price of Rs 9,446 ($152) per ton.
