Met coke imports via Vizag Port up 3.5% in Jan m-o-m

February 25: Met coke imports through the port of Vizag rose 3.5% to 4,535 tons in January 2014 against 4,381 tons reported in December 2013, according to provisional information available with ICMW.

In January, 4,330 tons arrived from Italy in a price band of Rs 14,701- Rs 14,583 ($236-$234) per ton while the balance 205 tons arrived from China at a unit price of Rs 19,161 ($308).

In December, the entire consignment arrived from Ukraine at a unit price of Rs 14,779 ($233).
