Met coke imports via Vizag down 63.79% in Dec m-o-m

January 7: Met coke imports through the port of Vizag dropped sharply by 63.79% to 4,381 tons in December 2013 against 12,100 tons reported in November, according to provisional information available with ICMW.

In December, the entire consignment arrived from Ukraine at a unit price of Rs 14,779 ($233).

In November 2013, however, the entire consignment arrived from China in a price band of Rs 16,718 - Rs 18,061 (4265-$285) per ton.
