May 7: Very strong demand was witnessed for mixed grade coal offered in the e-auctions conducted on the coaljunction platform during April 2014 as out of 181,750 tons of coal offered, 154,610 tons got allotted during the month. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,949/ton.
In March 2014, out of 223,450 tons of coal offered, 156,640 tons got allotted during the month. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,801/ton.
However, during the month of February 2014, very strong demand was witnessed for mixed grade coal offered in the e-auctions conducted on the coaljunction platform as out of 159,400 tons of coal offered, 157,050 tons got allotted during the month. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,909/ton.
