February 26: A mixed trend was marked in international coal markets on February 25 with prices moving in diverse directions in different markets, industry sources said.
Prices of South African standard coal softened by $0.25 per ton whereas Australian steam coal prices inched up by $0.25 per ton on slightly higher interest evinced by Chinese buyers, they said.
Indonesian coal prices continued to remain stable with fair enquiries from Indian buyers who continued to bid for 4,200 Kcal per kg GAR material.
