November 27: Moderate demand was witnessed for G-3 grade coal (GCV between 6,401 and 6,700 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC Ltd during October as out of 43,500 tons of coal offered by Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) and Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), around 38,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,809.
On the other hand, in September, out of 21,500 tons of coal offered by Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) and Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), around 11,600 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,889.
