November 27: There was moderate demand for G7 grade (GCV ranging from 5,201 to 5,500 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CCL, MCL, SECL and WCL for allotment through the MSTC platform during the month of October 2013 as out of the 61,650 tons offered, 41,550 tons got allotted.
In September, too, there was good demand for this grade of coal from CCL, NCL, WCL and SECL as out of the 138,080 tons offered, 135,280 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,802 per ton.
