April 3: G-7 grade coal (GCV range of 5,200-5,500 Kcal/kg) met with moderate demand on the coaljunction platform in March as out of the offered quantity of 89,700 tons, 58,340 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,679/ton.
However, in February as out of the offered quantity of 83,350 tons, 76,260 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,902/ton.
In January, out of the offered quantity of 299,750 tons, 281,220 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,466/ton.
