December 30: There was moderate demand for G8 grade (GCV 4,901 to 5,200 Kcal/kg) coal offered on the MSTC platform by two subsidiaries of CIL in November 2013 as 19,500 tons were offered from which 10,370 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,472 per ton.
However, in October, there was moderate demand for G8 grade coal offered on the MSTC platform by four subsidiaries of CIL as 112,080 tons were offered from which 73,530 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,320 per ton.
