November 27: There was moderate demand for G8 grade (GCV 4,901 to 5,200 Kcal/kg) coal offered on the MSTC platform by four subsidiaries of CIL in October 2013 as 112,080 tons were offered from which 73,530 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,320 per ton.
However, in September, there was also moderate demand for this grade of coal offered by WCL and CCL as 37,500 tons got offered from which 20,240 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,683 per ton.
