November 27: There was a moderate demand for G9 grade (GCV 4,601 to 4,900 Kcal/kg) coal offered through the MSTC platform in October 2013 by CCL and WCL, as out of the 246,000 tons offered, 195,800 tons got allotted.
However, in September, 231,400 tons offered, 184,830 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,171.
