Moderate demand for G1 grade coal in Oct e-auction

November 27: There was moderate demand for G1 grade (GCV 3,400 to 3,700 Kcal/kg) coal offered by NEC and BCCL for allotment through the MSTC platform in October 2013 as out of the offered quantity of 30,000 tons of coal, only 16,440 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,901 per ton.
In September, this grade was not offered.
