Moderate demand for G1 grade coal in Sept e-auction

October 7: There was moderate demand for G1 grade coal (GCV exceeding 7,000 Kcal/kg) at the e-auction platform of coaljunction in September. Out of a total quantity of 36,000 tons offered, 26,000 tons got allotted at a premium of 0-22%. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 6,365/ton
In August, no G1 grade coal was offered.
