November 6: There was a moderate demand for G3 grade coal (GCV ranging between 6,400 Kcal/kg and 6,700 Kcal/kg) at the e-auction platform of coaljunction in October. Out of a total quantity of 87,388 tons offered, 78,438 tons got allotted at a premium of 0-31%. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,148/ton.
In September, out of a total quantity of 115,984 tons that was offered, 109,984 tons got allotted at a premium of 0-35%. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,455/ton.
However, in August, out of a total quantity of 64,778 tons that was offered, about 37.32% or 24,172 tons got allotted at a premium of 0-30%. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,456/ton.
