December 4: There was moderate demand for G5 grade coal (GCV range 5,800 to 6,100 Kcal/kg) at the e-auction platform of coaljunction in November 2013 as out of 388,430 tons offered, 297,270 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,239/ton.
In October, there was moderate demand for G5 grade coal at the e-auction platform of coaljunction as out of 357,040 tons offered, 268,215 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,376/ton.
However, in September, there was moderate demand for G5 grade coal as out of 237,292 tons of coal offered, 195,729 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,258/ton.
