January 7: G7 grade coal (GCV range of 5,200-5,500 Kcal/kg) met with moderate demand on the coaljunction platform in December 2014 as out of the entire offered quantity of 190,740 tons of coal, 118,070 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,870/ton.
However, G7 grade coal met with a very high demand on the coaljunction platform in November 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 32,100 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,637/ton.
G7 grade also met with high demand in October 2014 as out of the entire offered quantity of 87,570 tons, 87,200 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 3,319/ton.
