January 3: G8 grade coal (GCV range 4,900-5,200 Kcal/kg) offered by four subsidiaries of CIL met with moderate demand during December 2013 as 54.95% of the total offered quantity of 246,000 tons got allotted. The total allotted quantity stood at 135,180 tons whereas the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,184/ton.
However, in November, G8 grade coal offered by six subsidiaries of CIL met with moderate demand during November 2013 as 47.18% of the total offered quantity of 228,452 tons got allotted. The total allotted quantity stood at 107,792 tons whereas the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,242/ton.
In October, G8 grade coal offered by four subsidiaries of CIL met with moderate demand as 61.29% of the total offered quantity of 194,400 tons got allotted. The total allotted quantity stood at 119,140 tons whereas the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,297/ton.
