April 28: Moderate demand was witnessed for G8 grade (GCV 4,901 to 5,200 Kcal/kg) coal offered on the MSTC platform by CIL subsidiaries in March 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 177,680 tons, only 112,340 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,530 per ton.
Similar kind of moderate demand was witnessed for G8 grade coal offered on the MSTC platform by CIL subsidiaries in February 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 191,330 tons, only 98,100 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2474 per ton.
Demand was more or less poor for G8 grade in January 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 78,710 tons, only 22,370 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,048 per ton.
