January 7: Mixed grade coal offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of coaljunction witnessed moderate demand during December 2014 as out of the offered quantity of 232,000 tons, 197,160 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,721/ton.
In fact, mixed grade coal offered during November 2014 witnessed a similar good demand as out of the offered quantity of 158,750 tons, 156,300 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,165/ton.
However, mixed grade coal offered for allotment during October 2014 met with very strong demand as the entire offered quantity of 56,960 tons offered during the month got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,978/ton.
