Mormugao coal handling up 15% in November m-o-m

December 12: Handling of coal at Mormugao Port stood at 895,000 tons during the month of November 2014, up almost 15.34% compared to 776,000 tons handled during October, according to a compilation by the Indian Ports Association (IPA).

During November 2013, coal handling at the port stood at 630,000 tons.

During the first eight months (April-November) of 2014-15, total coal handled at the port stood at 5,235,000 tons whereas the figure stood at 6,528,477 tons during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
