December 21: Imports of gypsum via Mundra Port decreased 42.27% to 389 tons in November 2015 from 673 tons in October, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In November 2014, gypsum imports via Mundra Port stood at 580 tons.
For the first eight months (April-November) of the current fiscal (2015-16), gypsum imports through Mundra Port decreased 53.82% to 42,188 tons from 91,362 tons imported in the same period of last year.

In November 2015, a volume of 81 tons came in from Egypt at a unit price of Rs 10,509 ($158) per ton and the remaining 308 tons from Oman at a range of Rs 3,989-Rs 9,433 ($60-$141) per ton.
In October 2015, a volume of 270 tons came in from Iran at Rs 3,693 ($56) per ton and the remaining 403 tons from Oman at a range of Rs 8,899-Rs 9,242 ($135-$141) per ton.
