Mumbai Port 2015-16 limestone imports up 15% y-o-y

After staying flat at 11,000 tons for three consecutive months, imports of limestone through the port of Mumbai in March 2016 were at 27,000 tons against 11,000 tons seen in February 2016, rising more than 145% month-on-month, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
For the entire fiscal of 2015-16, limestone imports through this port rose 14.52% to 219,700 tons against 191,830 tons in the previous fiscal of 2014-15.
